På ferjekaia.
En kvinnelig kvit turist sto me kameraet på kaia og knipsa bilde av alt som kunne minne om eksotisk kultur og kvardagsliv, især kvinne som bar alt mulig rart på haudet. Ho tok d visst for gitt at slikt e greitt.
Turist #2:
På ferja.
Lokal, til en turist som stend på en benk: It’s not allowed to put your shoes where people is supposed to sit.
Turist: Ignorera tiltale
Lokal: Do you hear me? It’s not allowed to stand where people are supposed to sit.
Turist: Fortsett å ignorere tiltale
Lokal: Snakka t ferjekonduktør på mandinka.
Ferjekonduktør: Sssst! Get down!
Turist: Set sej oppgitt ned.
Lokal: I told you it was not allowed.
Turist: I don’t like being told what I can’t do.
Lokal: What?
Turist: I don’t like being told what I can’t do!
Lokal: I don’t think you know what you are doing.
Turist: Shut up!
